Remote Release

July 16 2010

Today I have finally got around to buying a remote cable release for my Nikon D200 thus allowing me to increase my exposure time from 30sec to unlimited. Given my mount and the fact I am unguided at present I should be able to get away with exposures of up to 2 minutes.
The remote release I purchased was the Hahnel Combi TI which serves two functions. Firstly it allows me to wirelessly fire my shutter from upto 100m away (great for the coming winter months meaning I can be indoors). Secondly it allows me wirelessly fire my flash off camera thus giving me greater flexibility when doing still life photography.
